First Class - Continued

Continuing with the first class, we went through the basic shapes and how light and shadow affect them. It is really important while drawing to think about these shapes, using them to build what you see. It is a really great way to get started!

Oh, something important: draw what you see. I'll comment later on a Zen Drawing book I read a few months ago. We should never draw based on how we think things are. Instead, we need to learn to "see" and to "observe" (sounds easy but it really isn't).
