A few months ago I found on the internet this little piece of software called Sculptris. I was so excited with it, mainly for one reason: it is free.
If you are interested in digital art, you probably know how expensive all the professional software are, to the point that some might quit on studying for not having access to all of those tools.
At the time, Sculptris was a breath of fresh air for me (worth to mention Blender which is also a great software, complete, and most of all free).
But due to some reasons (mainly lack of time) I never got to learn it.
As time passed and my life got back on track I went searching for more tools and to my great happiness I found how you can get any of Autodesk's software free (student versions). There is no need to be enrolled on a program. You will have access to them as a home student.
That blew my mind.
I won't dare to say they are better because I do not have the qualification to do it. But to have access to some of the most used software in the industry is truly amazing. And that is why I want to thank Autodesk: for making them available to anyone and really making a difference in the world.
Thanks!
