Clay Class Project 1

Took a clay sculpting class this fall and this was the first project. Supposed to be a vase (?) become a bottle (?) with weird (phallic?) shape. But well, a first is always a first.

I just read a book about perspective drawings and did some testing. It is actually pretty easy to apply the rules. It does not mean you will make an awesome drawing (as you can see), but you can get somewhere. At least, it is a start.

The face done

OK, here is the final drawing. The scanner got a bit small for the paper size but that's OK. Now, it's time to move into another project.
