Clay Project 2 - Part 1

Second project in clay course. It took me the rest of the course (6 weeks) to complete. Time was a problem and lots of it bother me. But for a first course, second project I am ok with the outcome.

Eyes are too bulgy, terrible thin lips, ears hidden under the hair, small nose. Overall proportions are ok. There is potential there...

I believe I am now more excited to start a new project. I use all the time and push for a full realistic portrait. I may bring it home to have more time to work on it. To be seen...

These pics are after first firing.

Goddess - Complete

It's been a great ride... and I've never been as proud of a project as I am of this one. Product of my labor, product of my love, my Mother Nature is here...

The face done
